In the second quarter of 2024, the dragon-themed mobile gaming niche has seen varied user engagement and download trends on the iOS platform. Sensor Tower provides us with a closer look at the performance of the top dragon games during this period.

Dragonscapes Adventure by DianDian Interactive Holding maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at around $2.7M in early May, with a slight dip to $1.4M towards the end of June. Downloads spiked to 477K in mid-May, while weekly active users (WAUs) reached a high of 3.8M in the same month, before settling to 2.7M by the quarter's end.

Merge Dragons! from Gram Games showed robust revenue figures, especially in mid-June, hitting nearly $5M. The game's downloads saw an upsurge in mid-May at 271K but experienced a mild decline to 131K by late June. The WAUs remained relatively stable, starting at 3.1M and ending the quarter at 3M.

For Dragon City - Breed & Battle!, developed by Socialpoint, the revenue saw fluctuations with a notable peak of $1.1M in mid-April and a trough of $439K in mid-June. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around 100K-140K. In terms of active users, the game started strong at 4.5M, peaked at 4.8M in early May, and closed the quarter with 4.5M WAUs.

Frost & Flame: King of Avalon by FunPlus International AG saw a revenue increase in June, reaching almost $4M. Downloads dipped to 29K in mid-June, the lowest in the quarter, with WAUs reflecting a decrease from 553K to 224K over the same period.

Lastly, Call of Dragons from Farlight Games witnessed its revenue surge to $2.8M in mid-June. Downloads showed a slight increase over the quarter, while active users peaked at 1M in late May, ending the quarter just shy of that mark.
